Meet Cesare Caoduro, senior BIM manager and Dynamo-MEP specialist from Italy

This week we have the pleasure to talk with Cesare Caoduro from Italy, a passionate of technologies with more than 10 years of experience in the construction field. He has always worked for around Autodesk ecosystem starting from a very small reseller and ending as an Autodesk employee. During those years he has been BIM specialist, coordinator, approved instructor, technical sales specialist, business developer, territory sales executive and so on. Always used his passion as a starting point for all conversations with customers and to guide them to the right way of implementing processes.

He is also passionate for generative design, Fusion 360, 3D printing always trying to develop some new functionalities in Dynamo to help his team achieve the best result without doing repetitive tasks.

Meet Mohamed Tareq Ali, architect & BIM engineer from Germany

Mohamed Tareq Ali is an Architect with a Masters in Construction Management. Previous professional and academic experiences in Architecture, Interior Design and Building Information Modelling from India, Germany, Finland and Qatar. He studied architecture in India and worked there for 3 years, then moved to Germany for post graduate studies in construction management.

We'll discover how he started BIM, what solutions he is using, projects he worked on like the Doha metro-rail, the state of BIM in his country India and more !

Meet Victor Muñoz, BIM & Lean Construction manager from UK

Awarded as Constructor Engineer from The Catholic University of Valparaiso (Chile) in 2008. In 2009, he starts to work as BIM technician in the Center for Management Excellence from The Catholic University of Chile. There he was involved as BIM modeller and Manager in projects from different areas such as real estate, hospitals and civil projects. To reach 4,304,000 sqft (400.000 m2) modelled and co-ordinated, being most of those projects focus on real estate and hospitals.

Recognizing the important role that BIM methodology will play in the future develop of the AEC industry, he starts to study a Master in Science at University of Salford during 2013 to be awarded with the degree of MSc BIM and Integrated Design in 2014. Nowadays, he will start to pursue a Master in Philosophy at the ThinkLAB from the University of Salford to develop an Information Delivery Manual (IDM) to be used as base for the interoperability of an energy BIM tool (D4E software).

Bulgarian UACG Professor speaks about BIM

For many years, Associate Professor Boyan Georgiev has been lecturing in the Department of Architecture of the University of Architecture Civil Engineering and Geodesy. His professional interests concern primarily the application of information technologies in architecture, the use of CAD systems in the architectural design and the preservation of the European architectural heritage. In his line of work, he has been giving consultations for proper application of CAD systems in the architectural design to companies from Bulgaria, Germany, United Arab Emirates, Qatar and Zimbabwe. He is also the author of several user manuals for Autocad and Revit.
